The Individual Championship Semi Finals were played at

Kenilworth Sports & Social Club, on Monday 16th February 2009

Result / Report

Dean Bennett	0-4	Ian Bown	Dean's chances to shine were few and far between against an Ian Bown in phenomenal form. Dean had taken a 15-8 lead when Ian stepped up to the table, taking the remaining 11 reds with 6 blacks,2 pinks, 2 browns and 1 green, then the yellow, green and brown to compile an 85 break and win the frame 93-15. Ian won the second 58-11, 30 being his highest break. In the third, Dean started well with a 24 break, but Ian's response of 68 and 23 was enough to seal the frame 95-24. Ian's early visit to the table in the fourth netted him a 46 break. Dean scored 6 and 14, but this was not enough as Ian's 5, 12 and 7 were enough to seal the frame 70-20 and the match at 4-0.
Mark White	4-0	Jason Mellor	In the first Jason took an early lead 51-8, but with 3 reds left on Mark came to the table took the reds with colours and then all the colours to score 44 and win the the frame by 1 point 52-51.In the second Mark followed up with breaks of 79 and 23 to win 92-4. Frame three was honours even until Mark made a 51 break to win 73-25. Fourth frame was once again dominated by Mark with breaks of 55 and 24 Mark won the frame 79-8 and the match 4-0.

The Individual Championship Final will be played at the Daimler Sports & SOcial Club

on Friday 24th April 2009 and will commence at 7.15 pm.

The Match will be best of nine frames between

Ian Bown from Atack

and

Mark White from Parkstone

This is a repeat of the 2004/2005 final. Ian was victorious 5-4 on that occasion. Will Mark be able to get his revenge.
