Atack A1 Rob Galvin Jamie Home Glen Locker Rob Galvin Jamie Home Glen Locker	2-4 22-67 61-28 33-69 59-61 118-0 38-55	Oakfield A Gary Morris Chris Wakelin Nick Stanford Gary Morris Chris Wakelin Nick Stanford	Despite a solid 21 break Rob Galvin was unable to overcome Gary Morris in frame one. Gary making breaks of 38 and 14 towards his final score, winning 67-22. In frame two, Jamie Home's steady scoring was enough to overcome Chris Wakelin who only had two scoring visits to the table, 16 and 12. Jamie running out winner 61-22. Nick Stanford's two 30 breaks enough to overcome Glen Locker in frame three, Nick winning 69-33. There were only six scoring visits to the table by both players in frame four. Rob scoring 14, 9, 15, 14 and Gary 48 and 13. Gary winning on the black 61-59. Jamie came to the table in frame five in mean form. Chris's only two scoring were foul shots, as jamie dominated with breaks of 35 and 75, winning 118-0. Nick and Glen battled out a tense sixth frame with neither player making notable breaks. Scores remained close all the way through at 40-38 to Nick, when he potted a good brown, blue and pink to win the frame 55-38, and the match 4-2.

Ian Callaghan seemed to have trouble settling at the table and Andy took full advantage in frame two. There were no breaks in double figures, but Andy finished winner 50-15. Vic Makh's four scoring visits only netted 18 points, so Steve Self's steady scoring gave him victory 65-34. In frame four after several safety shots, Steve Jones broke the deadlock with a 25 break. Liam Farrell replied immediately with a 23. Liam was the one to build on this and go on to win the frame 70-35. In frame five there was only one break over 10, but Andy Kean had the better of the exchange with 8 scoring visits clocking a total of 62 points overcoming Ian's 33. Andy won the frame 62-33 and the Match to Atack A2 4-1.

The Godiva Trophy Final will be played at the Daimler Sports & SOcial Club

on Sunday 19th April 2009 and will commence at 6.00 pm.

The match will be Best of Seven Individual frames between

Oakfield A

and

Atack A2

Atack A2 are looking to improve on their losing Semi-Finalist result last year, but will have a tough game on their hands against Oakfield who are looking to retain the title they won last year.
