is the SEASON START MEETING on Sunday 5TH SEPTEMBER 2010 starting at 11.00am at the Jaguar Club. Chorley Way, Radford.
THE LEAGUE FORMATION ......
took place on 18th July. Entries had been received from 46 teams, 6 had confirmed they were not entering, and 6 had not returned forms. There were no new entries.
Given that the maximum we could have would be 52 teams, the meeting agreed to a format of 4 divisions with 13 teams andf 1 bye in each division. Division 1 and 2 playing on Wednesday nights, Division 3 playing on Tuesdays and Division 4 playing on Thursdays. The Presidents Cup, Spires Cup and Frank Revill Trophy will be open to teams from the bottom two divisions.
Since the meeting, 3 teams have confirmed entry, 1 has confirmed not entering and we are still waiting for a response from Rileys Hertford A and Kenilworth E1. To avoid having more than 1 bye in each division we may put 12 teams in division 1 and 2 and 14 in 3 and 4, with a single bye if necessary.
